Hop Skip and Jump, Swindon

The ‘go ahead’ is given for Swindon, as announced on the breakfast show of Radio Wiltshire on the  15th October 2009.

We have planning permission to build a Centre at Lydiard Park, to give day care for children with special needs.  Swindon Borough Council have appointed a Project Manager called Gaynor Wright, who will work alongside the Director Trustees of Hop Skip and Jump.  The aim is to get as many people in the community to support it and raise funds; then we can build it in the Spring.

After the years of experience, the Trustees have had, running these Centres, they are looking forward to offering a similar service to families in Swindon.  Extensively this is flexible, immediate and sustained day care for children and young people with special needs or life limiting illnesses.
